Indian Navy Cochin

About The Project

Royal Nag Aviation completed multiple aircraft model deliveries to the Indian Navy in Cochin, showcasing the rich heritage of naval aviation and supporting maritime operational training. The diverse model portfolio included carrier-based fighters like the MiG-29K with folded wing configurations, maritime patrol aircraft such as the P-8I Neptune and IL-38 Sea Dragon, and a range of naval helicopters including the Sea King and ALH Dhruv. All models incorporated special naval features like corrosion-resistant finishes for the coastal environment and details such as arrester hooks and ship deck tie-down points. These models have direct educational applications, serving as aids for aircraft recognition training, carrier operations demonstrations, and maintenance training. The models were installed in various display locations including the Naval Air Station museum, officer training facilities, and squadron ready rooms, supporting the Indian Navy's training requirements and preserving its aviation heritage.
