About The Project
Royal Nag Aviation manufactured specialized Surya Kiran aerobatic team aircraft models for an IAF squadron in Bellary, celebrating India's premier aerobatic display team legacy. The models met the exact Surya Kiran team specifications, representing the HJT-16 Kiran Mk.II aircraft with the distinctive red, white, and orange team livery and individual aircraft numbers. Various formation display options were created, including the famous diamond-nine formation and arrowhead configurations. We ensured historical accuracy by using period-correct markings, squadron patches, and even pilot figurines in distinctive orange flight suits. These models hold significant memorial value, honoring the Surya Kiran team's legacy and inspiring trainee pilots at the base. The display features custom stands allowing for banking angles and LED lighting to simulate smoke trails, reinforcing our ability to create historically significant models that preserve Indian Air Force heritage.
